Hi, I'm Jopaz.
I grew up in the Philippines and I come from a life of struggles.
Food on the table meant one thing growing up: Mama found a way. When people see me now, they think I’ve always had it good. Living and working in Japan. What they don’t know is I’ve worked hard for every single bit of it. The value of working hard is fading quickly. Everyone wants to be rich. Instantly. Not me. I understand what it takes to get there.

I've always been an outsider—never really understood what it meant to be normal.
As a rebellious child and a queer individual, society considers me an outcast. It took me years to realize there's nothing wrong with my flaws, quirks, and messy history. They make me who I am. And who I am is far from ordinary. I perceive the world through an unorthodox lens. My values are rid of rigid beliefs. I believe restricting yourself in a box does nothing but limit your impact on this Earth.
I am a creator who celebrates my uniqueness through Soulful Writing.
Outside of that, I am an ex-teacher who plays the guitar, creates Lofi music, experiments in the kitchen, and travels with my partner around Japan.
